Talk about a hella tasty protein smoothie. I love smoothies and I am so excited about this Strawberry Cheesecake Protein Smoothie recipe. I get asked all the time how to eat enough protein and protein powder is such a great way to sneak it in. The great thing about this recipe is that you can use any kind of protein powder you like. For example, vegan, whey, pea, etc.! Next time I make this ill use SCFNutrition Whey Protein Powder because I hear it’s just awesome, but any kind will do it.
- 5 cups whole frozen strawberries
- 1/2 cup frozen sliced banana
- 1/4 cup vanilla protein powder (any kind will work)
- 1/3 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- Optional topping: crushed tennis biscuits.
Place all ingredients (minus the biscuits) into a high-speed food processor and blend until smooth. Add more almond milk if it’s too thick!
